Our partner in neighboring counties have worked hard to get to this point. Congratulations everyone on taking back your liberties. Hopefully your kids and schools can get back to meaningful education.
On February 8th at the USD 113 (Sabetha) School Board meeting many us of not only wrote emails to express our voice, we were there to speak.
Due to our efforts, a motion was approved unanimously to remove the masks mandate on March 22nd. That is a huge win for everyone, thank you for your efforts.
The next school board meeting is on March 8th and we need to keep making our voices heard and hold the school board to their decision.
Remember, we need action from everyone.
*** clarification on k-4 grades. The flexible mask mandate guidance is that these grades do NOT have to wear masks when not in close proximity to others, but do when a responsible adult ask them to. No reason or date for the age cutoff has been given or discussed.
